While we’re very proud of KvZ, our sales have dropped off due to the App Store being overcrowded and highly competitive.

So, lacking a marketing department and experience (we’re game developers!), we’ve decided to try making our game FREE on the App Store for a while. Maybe it leads to more sales in the long run, but at the very least there is the sheer enjoyment of having as many people as possible download and have fun playing Kids vs. Zombies.

We’ve sent our first Kids vs. Zombies update to Apple for approval. This is a minor update that addresses some of the most common user feedback:

• A new Settings page to allow aiming, vibration and tilt customization.
• 5 more levels/nights, including an extra-long “endurance” level.
• Added a missing “cherry bomb explosion” sound effect, which we completely forgot in the original KvZ.

10 Days after launching our full version and 2 days after launching the Lite version, KvZ has rocketed to the front page of the iTunes store and is the #1 Staff Favorite!
